Womenpreneurs Tool Tips

There’s some common reasons why women don’t start their own business.

Here’s where to help you bust out of it

Start

Do something to start – almost anything. Hire a coach, draw a picture of what it looks feels like and what you’re doing. (Just use stick figures.)

Get over it having to be perfect and meet the expectations of that girl you knew when you were ten, and take action.

And do something most days - from 10 minutes to 2 hours can build something wonderful. But start – just do something.

Tell someone who you know well who has started their own business that you’re going to own a business as well.

Ask them to be supportive and truthful as you develop your ideas and make it happen.

Telling someone else is very powerful. I know someone who did this and it meant she started her first business at 58! It’s never too late. Now she’s living her dream.
